Burning Permits:

All residents within the town limits in Hampton are required to be in possession of a valid burning permit twelve (12) months of the year.

Permits for general yard clean up can be obtained, in person only, every Tuesday night at the Hampton Fire Hall between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. Permits expire after 7 days and can only be renewed once by calling the Fire Prevention Officer at (506)832-6094 (Opt.5)

Persons wishing to install an ornamental wood burning fireplace, outdoor stove or fire pit, please email fire.prevention@townofhampton.ca or call (506) 832-6094 (Opt.5) to arrange for a site inspection. Please note that propane fire pits, fire tables or BBQ do NOT need a permit or inspection.
